Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Has anyone from Karachi received their passports earlier than within 4 weeks? We have been waiting for more than 3 weeks now and the wait is causing real worries. Our ECas says DM and Canadian address is also appearing.

Would appreciate if anyone can respond.

They will send u PPR once your background/security checks get completed.

There are two ways to obtain Police clearance certificates from Karachi
1. Go to DIG Office near Arts Council and get the Police clearance form for free, take the form and deposit with the Police station of your residence area, there the SHO will sign the form and will send it to DSP of your area for his signatures, after sign of DSP you collect the form from DSP office and take it to DIG office who will give you the Police Clearance Certificate the next day.
2. Go to SSP of your residence area , and get the Police clearance form for free, take the form and deposit with the Police station of your residence area, there the SHO will sign the form and will send it to DSP of your area for his signatures and the DSP will subsequently sign it and send to SSP office and you wil get Police Clearance Certificate from SSP office.

I had adopted the second method when I submitted my initial application and SSP South office staff charged me Rs 400 and took 7 days in 2010. For updated Police certificate along with Medicals and RPRF I adopted method 1 in 2012 and it costed me nothing and took 3 days.

Hi All,

I landed Pearson Int'l Airport Toronto on 19th March. all process of immigration have done within one hour. only one suggestion do make list of all your belongings (luggage) it will ease your immigration process. Also you can prepare your list for those items that you want to bringing them in Canada later on. you can download the form of "list to follow B4A" on below link

SHO will send himself, you would have to collect from DSP office .

I do not remember exactly, but it included 2 passport size pics, copy of passport and CNIC, character certificate with CNIC of two witnesses.

THANK U BROTHER FOR UR VALUABLE ADVISE.WE ARE PLANNING TO TAKE LEAVE AND GOING IN SUMMER VACATIONS INSHALLAH .WE WILL COM BACK AFTER 3 MTHS,THEN WE CAN GO AGAIN AFTER 3 YEARS TO MAINTAIN OUR PR STATUS NOT CITIZENSHIP.
