This is my first post in the forum. I have a question for those who have already landed in Canada. Did you contact any recruitment firms in order to get a job within your field of expertise? If yes, what was their response and were they helpful in placing your anywhere?

Most Recruitment agencies are very helpful here in Canada. They keep trying until you get what you want. Their proper followup system is really admirable. My wife got her first job through a recruiting agency too..

It has been more than two weeks now since my consultant sent a CSI to LVO but no reply as of yet. What could be the possible reason? Do they take that much time to reply? I did my medical on 24th Sept 2012.

Thank you Mythestic for an encouraging response. I am waiting for my PPR since 4 months already and hoping if everything goes well, we will land by mid May. Do you think the recruitment companies would be helpful if I contact them right now for guidance? I would like to be prepared when I land in Canada and a few contacts in the recruitment companies could prove to be useful.

i dispatched all required information on 1st Dec,12. Now the issue is from 6th Jan,2013 my Yahoo ID has been block ( not accessed by me]. i am afraid if LOV send PPR 2 on e-mail what i can do.?. i write e-mail them with different e-mail but still there is no response beside only auto reply.Please advise what can i do in this situation.can you share me what is actually PPR2 papers ?.. it is possible islamabad office it self contact with us in case if LVO issue me PPR2.

1) my brother in law deposited our processing fee from credit card with this fee form IMM5620 now he has to pay RPRF from his credit card. That's why i m asking which form should i use? What is the method to deposit fee from credit card?
2) I have one real daughter and 1 step child. He is living with his real mother. I have mentioned his name in my generic form but written that he is in the custody of his real mother and send custody documents to cio when submitted documents. He is not nominated of ainp family stream.But visa office send his medical form with us.He is under 18.Is his medical necessary?
3) The visa office asked to submit 3 forms for my daughter.(i) schedule A form(ii) Imm5406 Additional family information (iii) Imm8 Generic form. They didnt ask that whole family fill this form. It is clearly written in (pnp guide how to fill form) that this form must complete by principal applicant so i m principal applicant she is not.
I need to know how can i fill this form only for her.
