Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Hello Friends,

Following reply received from IOM in response to my request to attend Pre-departure session:

Thank you for your email. Kindly share with us the email from CHC London office as well as copy of below mentioned documents required for registration with COA session

· PHEP Document: We need scan copy of the PHEP form in which CHC office has provided you information about IOM conducting COA session
· B file Number: Any document from CHC in which your file number and name would be mentioned

My Questions:

- Should I forward PPR-1 email from CHC London with same subject to IOM or take printout and send as scanned attachment.?
- What is PHEP Form? Do they mean "Updated Information Chart" or that full 4 Page .PDF file I received via EMail.?
- They wrote document in bold. This should be hard copy via courier or scanned attachment would suffice.?

Hello My friend did his Medical end of Oct 2012 and sent in all the requested forms and medicals receipt first week of november , but hasn't heard anything yet - Has anyone from the similar period received any kind of updates yet ?

I am from Karachi.

Driving License place at Clifton,
N.O.C.(No Objection Certificate) cost Rs.300/-
International Driving License cost around 1200 to 1500 and it will be valid for 1 year so We can drive in Canada right away.

Just sharing information for everybody who are planning to move to Canada soon.

Please be sure to have all the info on your NOC like name, address, driving license number ,issue date and date of expiry etc ,otherwise your NOC didn't work here and then you have to go to Pak embassy to get a certificate ,which will cost you $20 to $40

Nice format.. Just make sure to add your DATE OF BIRTH into the NOC. They usually object when you don't mention your date of birth into verification letters.

So we should have this format printed on Letter head or just plain paper with Stamp on it.
Any boby who has used this formit and accepted by CA driving authority.

Is this 300 rs official or through agent.
What about inetrnational liscence will CA vdriving authority accept this and allow to drive without any test.

Your International driving license will help you to drive in Canada only for 90 days.
Make sure to get the NOC/Verification letter, then you will be allowed to attend the knowledge test and then a road test just after your arrival in Canada.
If you don't bring it, you will be eligible for knowledge test only and then after waiting for ONE year, you will get the chance for road test. SO, bring the NOC at any cost.

well thunder i would suggest to travel on PIA as its a direct flight. Travelling on Emirates with a 10month old baby is not suggested at all as these flights have long transit times.
secondly DD is also an option. but who told u that u can carry only CAD10,000? u can take CAD20,000 as u r with ur spouse. ten thousand each u can carry as cash. whereas i know that as an immigrant u can take alot more then that. u r not visitor, u r an immigrant and r priviliged .

as per State Bank of Pakistan regulation, its not mentioned for an immigrant or traveler (I feel immigrant should have privilege)

As for cash, you can carry as much as you can as immigrant. However, you need to declare at first.

MI stands for Ministerial Instructions. MI1 are those peoples applied for Federal Skilled Worker Category after Feb 2008 till 26th June 2010. Then MI2 applied to those people who applied for 29 professions with 20,000 total.

** yes, you can send PPR-1 email or medical request email to IOM. No need to scan---- just copy/paste email in word doc and attach it with email

** I was also not aware of this form. I provided other documents and IOM sent me registration form. So you can leave it

Hi Thanks for making me understand all.
Tell me what number is for mine I applied in 2004. Had left my case as it was getting delayed and last year LVO waked me up and asked updates. I have completed my medical on 2nd Oct 2012, and after my enqiry regarding the status of my case now LVO office is asking one more xray report, which will be completed by wed and pass all to IOM Karachi.

I think i am the most oldest amoung you all. and have vey much pations.
Now its not too far.

no. they did not bother to intimate me. i checked early this month and they (London office) said that three of my family members' medical status were updated and the fourth would be updated shortly. We are a family of four. so u may mail them too if you please...

the process which involves certain papers and the landing money isn't complete without the medical,all

papers landing money done without MR? I send All update papers and Landing money and pics on 15/11/2012.

I am still waiting for medical request.We are processing this immigration by a famous gent in Karachi,Pakistan.
We are living in Jeddah, from ten years .

Does MI1 or MI2 make any difference in terms of migration rules? what I understand they just number it for their internal processing. Correct me if I am wrong...

I did my medical 11 Dec and got PPR1 on 25 Jan

AOA. Lucky Alloushmk! I did my medical on 11 Dec'12 (Lahore) too and Updated Documents along with Landing fee reached LVO on 21 Dec'12. Now waiting!
