We are currently in the process of conducting background/ security checks for this application. This is a lengthy process that can take several months. We will be in contact when there have been further developments with the processing of the file.

Its more then 8 months now...how long will they take more for background / security checks?

I am also waiting for PPR. I have completed my medicals on March 16, 2012. I noticed only few applicants waiting for PPR who did medicals in March/ April.
