Sir I think your Med expiry is immaterial since you visa must have already been printed and sent to Islamabad. So chill karain and pack your bags and book tickets.

Hi, Regarding International Driving Permit and NOC...should I get NOC attested from MOFA too...any idea/suggestion?

As per ICBC web you can drive on pakistani passport for 60 days.

I think they should give you a few months at least, if sanity prevails.

By the grace of ALLAH, i got my PPR1 email on Thursday and sent the required PPT copies + pictures + height and all details today.....

Is there anybody tell me how long is it taking nowadays after PPR1 for PPRT original requirements (their email says its maximum 6 weeks.... but you all know that they are very uncertain with their sayings

My Medical done on 15 March 2012
Med docs and landing fee sent by 22 March 2012

2months for ppr1 and 1 month for ppr2 and 15 to 25days for visa process if all goes well

In the given situation, my best guess is;
Chances of rejection after Meds: less than 10%
Meds to PPR1: 8-10 weeks approx
PPR1 to PPR2: 4-6 weeks approx

mate these r the initials of visa officer. CLK is the person who emailed me for the submission of PPR1.

Dear Beckett , trigeminal77 and all Pakistani fellows who have done their Medical and waiting for PPR-1

Don't wait for coming Friday or any next 4 to 6 Fridays.
I have just gone through their latest Processing timeline, they have revised it again (third time) on 17th of August 2012

For all Pakistanis Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010 in short words MI-1 : Minimum Processing time is now 44 Months (3 years and Half )

So just take a another waiting pill and switch on to Doraemon or ay of your favorite cartoons

Lolz....thank God I got my daughters admitted in new school well if you see for this timeline...i think one can expect PPR1 till december 2012 or january 2013.
