A question: if someone has lived in various cities, within the same country, since the age of 18, will the security checks take longer?? anybody else has any idea??

If there is question about cities where you lived, it ll be cleared by your police clearance certificate which i believe you sent to the VO, Security Checks/Background Check record checked by some international Agencies like MI6 (Uk) FBI (USA) Interpol etc. These agencies have the record regarding Terrorists, Criminals

How long does it usually take for PP to return after they reach Islamabad VO for visa stamping! Just wondering whether ill get them before the holidays start ... Thanks ..

It depends.. some people have received back their PPs exactly after ONE week.. I got mine exactly after TWO weeks. However, one applicant received his PPs after THREE weeks.. its rare but sometimes they can take exact 4 weeks too.

Oh its 2 months already, who is your visa officer, I dont know why they delay after PPR1, while 2 applicants got in 3 weeks only recently.
PPR1 menas all approvals done

My visa officer is RIH. Yesterday i launched case specific inquiry, lets see.

I guess this Friday most of applicants who've done medical in march 2012 will receive PPR-1.

I hope there is finally some good news for those who have done their medicals in March. It's about time. Keep us posted. My meds reached LVO 16 March. Yours?
