i got a call from chc islamabad to submit passport as i am waiting for ppr step 2 and i don't got an email from chc london of ppr step 2 but i got a call from chc islamabad to submit passport .What does it means ?

second may be now they hav changed policy for step 2. so be happy n submit your passport
also plz share at what time of the day you got a call from CHC isb n also ws it on land line or mobile?

Hello hope u all fine i am newly entered in this side.I am in Pakistan, and i apply under Federal Skilled worker under NOC code 4131 (college Teacher). I am Master in English and my points are 68. after a second step I have received refusal from visa officer uk today now i try to submmit the appeal agianst the refusal what is the best way to file appeal and are i hire lawyer from canada

You got a call because you are very old SAP applicant (applied in 2006). Many people like you who have applied in 2004 got calls to submit passports but others who have applied in MI-1, MI-2 or MI-3 won't get calls. Just a standard procedure for them. This is just my opinion. Thanks

I received PPR1 today.

I got it through e-mail and they attached a word document with instructions and a simple form that needs to be updated.

They asked for:
1. Photocopies of Passports (all family members)
2. Updated form which is part of this word document and asks for very basic info that has been submitted before.

They did NOT ask for updated photographs in my case. The form also has no designated space for me to sign at the bottom.

They gave me 45 days to submit these to CHC London.

Step 1: Submit the documents listed below to our office in London. (These instructions do not apply to accompanying family members who are entitled to Canadian citizenship, because they will have to travel on their Canadian passports.)

1. Clear photocopies of your passport and the passports of each accompanying family member. The passports must meet the Passport Specifications on page 2 of this letter because these are the passports you will use to travel to Canada.

2. The Updated Information Chart on page 3 fully completed for you and each accompanying family member.

Submit these three items within 45 days of the date of this letter (or the date of the email if you received this by email). All items for you and your accompanying family members must be submitted together in one package.

Mail or courier your package to:

PHEP Processing
Immigration Division
Canadian High Commission
38 Grosvenor Street
London, W1K 4AA
United Kingdom

So they clearly asked for 2 things then wrote 'these three items'... which is confusing, but i'm advised to send a covering letter and only those two items because this seems to be a mistake on their side.

This is exactly the same instructions that i recieved, and even my immigration consultant didnt have an answer. He has sent the requested documents plus 2 photos of each member, as according to him, this is the standard practice.

yeah, seems like a typical clerical mistake. My application reached them about 7 months ago, so i can see why they wouldn't need updated (new) photographs. I'm not sending them anything other than the 2 items listed.

yea i noticed it too ist they enumerated the two things and then wrote to send three hehehe it ws confusing but i sent jst the two enumerated ones with no cover letter.someone in forum said that they ask for photo's only if someone hasnt provided the required number of photo's with initial application.thats y i didnt send.
i received PPR step 1 on 8 of feb its more than 6 weeks now i sent a CSI but no reply as yet
you will get it in 45 days inshaALLAH AS MANy get it within one month, my case is one of its own kind lols

Hello Docpak and Someone-Somewhere,

well its amazing and very tiring to see both of you wait for soo long towards the end of your process..
well im still IN PROCESS and still waiting for medicals..

have you guys heard anything from anyone on when they will resume working on the MI2 files? because right now it seams they are only working on the MI1 files.. (

also please do come and post your comments on our original page that Someone created... nobody seas to write on it now

Also someone please email me the trackker file so atleast we can keep track of what happening..
