Do inform the CIC immediately after delivery. If the MR arrives before delivery then tell the IOM/DMP about her pregnancy and at the same time email to LVO. The IOM will take all the tests and postponed the chest X-RAY which will be done after delivery. The new born medical is also mandatory.

I already had my medicals in April 2012 just waiting for PPR1.

It seems that for those whose passports were received on 19th November, are getting their passports back with visas. Lets see when those whose passports were received next day i.e. 20th November will get a good news keeping fingers crossed

If you people remember she said, Travel document has to be applied before a person leaves Canada i.e. it had to be applied inside canada.

it very clearly states that travel document can only be made if a person is abroad.
It CAN NOT be applied from within the Canada.

Who should not apply for a travel document?

Canadian citizens or registered Indians under the Indian Act
Permanent residents with a valid permanent resident card
Permanent residents in Canada

One I just mentioned little above. Secondly remember she said PR card is delivered in 4 to 6 weeks and then a poor soul asked will it be ok if I book my return tickets with a gap of 7 weeks and she said, yeah that 'll be fine.\

Please see the link below. it takes 58 Calendar days for processing of PR card if person has provided a valid postal address.

Man these are minor things..don't make them an issue and don't look for her mistakes..she said in general 4-6 weeks and that is true...in some cases PR card does arrive in 4 weeks.....all in all she is helpful and giving good piece of info and she had told many other good things and guidance etc....don't assume she will be perfect as no one is perfect in this world..you should respect her and have patience to bear others....

Gone are the days when PR card used to take 4-6 weeks time (i.e. different for different person). Now all PR cards are processed at one place and processing times are as per the CIC website.

I am not saying she should be perfect, but she should have at least that information which is available at CIC website.

Does not take much time exploring CIC website, especially when you are being paid for the lectures. Its not a charity work.

For all those who need official information and detail... I would strongly recommend to attend CIIP session (Canadina immigration integration program). They will give you all such information with official references.

she is not there to tell when PR card will arrive, as you have already found from website so you and others are expected to get precise info from website..she is just there just to tell general info about canada and she is just out there to help us..remove negative things from your mind.think positive and stop looking at the mistakes...

and if you are really unhappy, report the matter to CIC that she told you PR card will arrive in 4-6 weeks but website says 58 days so she misguided and she should be sacked...

Get your facts straight. She is not an employee of CIC. She is an employee of IOM.
