Correct Size of Photos with PPR1

Dear all I thought to share with you that I know two examples where the applicants send photos with PPR1 request taken by well known photogratphers who are "supposed to know" well about the exact size of photo size for Canadian Immigration, and later once they landed in Canada and went through the formalities, they we told after a week time that submit the correct sized photos again becuase earlier submitted were not of the correct size.
A friend landed in Vacouver told me that actually the Face Size (that is mentioned in the diagaram sent by CHC) does not match with the photos he had sent. Infact at the time of printing the staff did not bothered to match it precisely according to the diagram of CHC. On a minor difference of size ends up in wastage of time and money both.
He advised me to take the diagram with you while receiving the Photos and measure the printed size of face, if not matching get it reprinted but do not send an incorrect size.

thanks for reply soon yes fair sounds good we ve 3 kids so its seem good option but we want from islamabad to toronto . i wish that day come with happiness but uve not told abt baggage problem and how much weight is allowed wit one person .

Luggage is standard for USA and Canada its 2 bags of 23kg each in economy class and 32 kg each in business class and a handcarry bag of 7-8 kg per person. Adult and children have the same luggage allowance, but for infant (under 2 years) only handcarry and one bag and stroller is allowed.

Those who are looking for better fare, should try the airline's website first as most of the time they offer good discount for online tickets. You can make booking insert passenger details and use the option to pay later, in that case they will give you a time limit to get the tickets issued with total amount and you can either pay it by credit card online or you may visit the airline office with booking reference and get it issued by paying cash there. Also this will help you in getting the details of exact departure, arrival and transits timings.

So its ur turn to pray for us..As u got visa, so u must be very happy, n when u raise ur hands to hank Allah, don't forget us in ur prayers too.

INSHAALLAH this Friday will be yours. And once you get your PPR1, time will move very fast. I suggest you to do other necessary activities (although It really hard to think or do any other thing before PPR1 becoz there is a lil fear / uncertainty) But do engage you self in other critical things
Like:
1)Upgrade your Resume in Canadian Style
2)Upgrade your Professional credibility by doing some certifications
3)Rough budgeting of your upcoming expenses

Guys pls let me have your opinion. I submitted my passport in islamabad on 15th oct and ecas changed to decision made on 16th oct but till date no sign of passports. Is there any way of tracking it or by when i can initiate an inquiry

You are welcome dear. 1 Suite Case of 23kg (Checked) 1 Hand Carry 7 Kg for each passenger adult / child or infant

Futher 5 kg extar bag for infant allowed in the cabin if space available.

Can you please share about Luggage? are you taking standard luggage or more (several suggest to take most of your belongings like cloths, shoes and others). Did you check how much more for extra luggage?

Also confirm the size of hand carry in US/Canadian airlines, I heard it is different from rest.

I am new member of this forum , and am as desperate as others MI 1 applicants are . I have gone through patience and sucess stories of members.

I am a frequent traveller , and for all those who are planning their travel are strongly advised to choose either Ethiad Airways or Emirates.
Please do not travel on PIA , as PIA goes through Manchester UK , and there are insulting security checks at British ports for Pakistanis.

Etihaad and Emirates have a very low percentage of baggae loss ratio.
