Please note that secondary-level qualifications are NOT required for the Post-Secondary Assessment. CES does not require secondary school documents to assess your post-secondary credentials. It is up to you to decide whether or not you would like your secondary school education to be assessed.
Per instructions on the application form: Please provide one set of colour copies of your degree/diploma certificates, transcripts and certified English translations if required. You must also complete the application form and provide one colour copy of photo ID.
Additionally, Citizenship and Immigration Canada requires applicants to have their Official Academic Records (transcripts/statements of marks) sent directly from the issuing institution(s) in a sealed envelope to the University of Toronto, Comparative Education Service. It doesn’t matter if a previous institution verified them or not. We don’t consider documents as official unless we receive it directly from your former institution.
In order to assist with this process, we have developed a form entitled: “REQUEST TO HAVE OFFICIAL ACADEMIC RECORDS/TRANSCRIPTS/STATEMENTS OF MARKS SENT TO THE COMPARATIVE EDUCATION SERVICE”. This form can be submitted to your educational institutions to have your Official Transcripts/Academic Records sent directly to the CES office in a sealed envelope.

We cannot provide accurate estimates of processing time for individual applications, so we request your patience in this matter. Please note processing time is subject to change without notice.
