any idea how LONG it takes once you get remedical request after your SECURITY SCREENING finishes?
I passed remedicals today and wondering how long it it will take till I get my PPR. I am from Lahore.
VO is vancouver. thank you

There is no hard and fast rule but I have mostly seen people get a PPR within 1-2 weeks of getting their remeds done (few cases even within a few days of remeds).

In some cases it has taken up to 2-3 months.

This is from my sampling though, so not sure how representative it is. But hopefully not too long now

I also received request for re-medical today. Have got an appointment of 19th Dec. Lets hope and pray it gets over now.

thanks any idea what was the case for people that it took about 2 to 3 months? was their VO slow? did they get more ADRs or they were more than 1 applicant? thanks

i also wanted to know if i can take photos for my PR now instead of waiting for PPR to come first, just to save time

You can take the photos now if you want to, or wait until you hear back from CIC.

I can't remember the case specifics. You might be able to find them in last year's AOR threads. Some are still active now because of people who had their remeds done.

VFS wont give me any isses right ? if i take photos before having gotten the PPR email. thanks.

They shouldn't unless you don't resemble the person in the picture

you should be able to find the specs on CIC website. Just google it. I got mine from my photographer in karachi (they emailed me)

Its been a while since I last stayed in Lahore but any good photography studio in Lahore defence should be able to do it, tell them specifically that you are looking for photograph for Canada visa and give them the specs you get from the CIC website. In Karachi of course Jimmy's or Dossani's are usually very good. In fact Dossani's first had the older specs. I called them up from here and they were happy to email me the soft copy with the required specs.

If i get 8777 my CRS will be 432 which is not enough because minimum requirement is more than 445

Any outland fsw pakistani applicant went through interview experience or have been scheduled for one? i was informed by LVO that i require an interview and it will be held next year sometime in spring in Abu Dhabi.. Anyone here who went to UAE for interview?

I emailed them myself in order to inquire about the latest status updates regarding my application and then they told me that i require an interview as per the visa officer. They have not yet contacted me with an official date and venue for the interview.

My AoR is 6th September, 2018.

1. From where can i get the Urdu Nikah Nama translated to English in Lahore?
2. Do I need to get the signatures of witnesses again on the translated version?
3. Do I have to get the translated version notarised by notary public?
4. Do I have to get an affidavit from the translator? If yes, then what should it state?

CLB 10 is IELTS band score level, i don't exactly remember it but i believe its 8.5 listening and over 7.5 for the rest.

Btw. Is there any Whatsapp group for Pakistani applicants of this thread?
