Hello guys, I need help..

I have done Bachelors of Commerce (2 years) and then Masters in Business Administration (3 years). Is my level of education applicable to "Two or more Certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three years or more" ?

You need to get an ECA done to confirm that.

Hi Everyone,

I've done my O and A Levels and have gotten the equivalence certificates made for both.
Now I wanted to get my Bachelors degree attested from HEC and I was completing the form on their online portal.
I am a bit confused regarding some of the fields mentioned on their form (under the Education tab) and would be grateful if someone who's done O and A levels can share their experience and help me fill out the form, especially the following fields;

  1. Under Degree/Certificate details what do I mention in the Registration/Roll no. Do I mention the my O level candidate number or the Reference number given on the equivalence certificate - O levels candidate no.
  2. What do I mention under Degree Awarding Institute - IBCC or University of Cambridge? - UoCambridge
  3. What do I mention under Program Title and Discipline? - Ordinary Level & Science/Arts/Business/Commerce
Your support would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much for the response. Just wanted to confirm one more thing, should I mention the marks stated in my equivalence certificate in the "Total marks" field.

I have been employed at a public limited company for the past few years. I would like to claim these points if I file for PR application (via EE). I have a formal designation in the company and despite being in the family I don't have any special influence.

I hold a few shares in the company (insignificant amount. Less than 0.01%) and my father is the Chief Executive and also the majority shareholder. The other shareholders are relatives but not family. Would the credibility of an employment letter from such a company be under question? It is not a small business and operates above the bar in all respects. It has an independent accounting and HR department.a

In addition, I can provide (for the duration of my employment):
1) Pay Slips
2) Tax Deduction Certificates from the Government. These certificates are dated and often my employer files them in advance and in some cases they are filed a little late.
3) My Income Tax Returns (though filed late).
4) My bank statement will also says 'Salary' whenever I receive my salary. I can provide the statement for the length of the duration I am claiming

Some further info: the business was founded, in its current form, in 1994. So I am in no way it's founder or even a part-owner.

You are working in the company as an Employee and have all documents available in support of your claim. You don't need to give any extra details to CIC. They are more concerned on what you do and whether you can support yourself (Proof of Funds) rather than what your family does.

I would say you should go ahead for it just like a normal case.

Hi,

i had my ACCA and BSc degree assessed from WES and got the equivalency for two bachelors. However when getting them assessed, i chose the country of UK as the country of study because i could not get the degrees assessed from pakistan as they were foreign degrees.

Now in my EE profile if i am choosing UK as the country of education, they are asking for a police certificate from UK. However i have never been to UK so i can not get a police certificate and if i choose Pakistan as the country of study, wouldn't that clash with my WES ECA report?

Could someone please help.

Thanks in advance

For ECA, you do not need to get your degrees assessed by hec/university in pakistan. Saying you have a UK degree implies that you studied there, hence lived there too. Which is exactly why you're being asked to provide a PC from the UK.
If getting a new ECA report is not an option, you could proved police certificates for all the places you've lived in for a or over a total period of 6 months and explain in LOE about why you do not have one for UK.

Probably. But only getting evaluation will tell you exactly what WES equates them to.
