Hey guys, I wanted to share happy news with you folks.

Yesterday I got PPR request :)

My timeline:

ONIP/FSW
NOC: 2173 (software engineer)
AOR: 21st May
Medical passed: 10th August
Request to pay RPRF: 10th November
PPR: 23rd November

I believe, if I had paid RPRF upfront, it would not have taken more than three months; that's how it went for my friend.

congratulations. All the best

Hi everyone, need a little gelp. In my case I am the PA but the funds are available in my spouse's account and I am using a notarized affidavit to use them as POF in my application. Can someone please confirm if this sample is good enough for the said purpose?

Hello All,

I want to get ECA for my spouse. She has done O-Levels but doesn't have the equivalence certificate from IBCC issued for it. Only provisional certificate from IBCC is available on the basis of which she got admission in BSc and completed Bachelors and Masters in Home Economics.
Can anyone suggest which ECA issuing authority is best to get the ECA in this case i.e. where there is no requirement of secondary school education for Pakistani candidates? and how long will it take?

You can go with IQAS like us. Its not mandatory to submit secondary and higher secondary school certificates with IQAS.
You will only require to submit degrees / transcripts for the bachelors and Masters degree.

Currently IQAS website states that it can take upto 9 weeks AFTER all the documents have been received. My approximate guess is that it would take probably 3-4 months from the time you file in the application to the time you get the ECA.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Can you please share the detailed procedure that need to be followed?

I would suggest just follow the commonly used format and it should be all fine. If PO box is not available, then you can leave that slot blank. That's what I did and there was no issue afterwards.

Ok this maybe a stupid question but I am asking as PCC causes the most frequent rejections........... If we have changed our home within the city, I.e within Karachi.......we will just get one PCC right? or should i get a different PCC for every area that I have lived in? I was born in a different area......and then at age 6, we shifted home. should i bother getting a different pcc from the past area's police station?

Hi. You just need one PCC from the year you turned 18 till date. One from your current address will be just fine.
