Hi,

I am from Sahiwal but also have lived in Lahore for 3 years. I have mentioned this in Background declaration form. So Now I will have to provide 2 different PCCs for both cities or only 1 PCC from Sahiwal will be fine?

thanks

In the similar situation I get two pccs.

You need to provide PCC from Sahiwal and Lahore.

Thanks Sky Walker. But how can I get 2 PCCs? I have already applied for PCC from Sahiwal. My CNIC shows my permanent address from Sahiwal. So how can I get PCC from Lahore? Because I guess they issue PCC according to the city and address on CNIC.
Please let me know how did u get 2 pccs.
thanks

Hey, I am not 100% sure but I read this somewhere on this forum that you got to provide address list of the places you have lived in last 10 years. So if you have lived in Lahore within these 10 years, then you got to provide them with PCC from Lahore as well. As I stated earlier, this is what I read on this forum, please feel free to look for this yourself :)

You are right. And I have lived in Lahore from 2007 to 2009. So I will have to provide PCC.
But I dont know how to get PCC from Lahore because my home city is Sahiwal. And CNIC address is also from sahiwal. So how can I get the PCC from Lahore when CNIC has no address of Lahore.
That is the question.

You don't have to have address on NIC to get a PCC. You lived there, so you were doing something e.g. if you did a degree or worked at some company, then experience letter / pay stub etc. can be used to get that. I have done that first hand, so have many others. This is the safest route that you get PCC from all places you have ever lived, irrespective of those addresses being on your NIC or not.

The other less safer, but practical option is to argue that although you worked in lahore and lived there, your home address on NIC has always been of your home city. So a PCC from there covering that entire period will do fine. But make sure that if you do this, it should tele with your address history that you fill in your express entry application i.e. you don't claim that i have LIVED in lahore (in retrospect, it is not physical living, but living in papers legally as in NIC).

It would be a sure shot refusal if you write in address history of Express entry (lived on a lahore address 07-09 but don't provide PCC from there). But you can always state your home address as your permanent address for entire period (including 07-09) and only provide PCC from there.

As long as PCC matches the address history, it would be fine. Again, i have done this first hand and i know multiple people who did the same, despite living in another city or even two for a few years. Both ways work, but of course first is more transparent and requires extra effort on your part.

Lastly, although most likely you are younger and it shouldn't matter, but "LAST 10 years only" is mostly crap. They need it since the age of 18, period. So if you are older than 28 and only provide last ten years, it is very likely that you would receive a Schedule A. Besides adding likely needed info is always beneficial.

Thanks for detailed reply.
I am 30 years of age. And have received PNP nomination. I sent federal forms to my PNP at the time of applying. And have mentioned that I lived in Lahore.
Although I am getting a PCC from my home city for whole time (like 30 years) But I will have to make PCC from Lahore as well.
Actually I was confused that Lahore police will not issue me a PCC since my addresses on NIC are not from Lahore.

Dear All,

I am thinking to apply for CIC EE. I am from Pakistan, but having PhD from Italy. Following details:

- Matric + Intermediate + BS (IT) + MS (IT) = From Pakistan
- PhD (IT) = From Italy

I would appreciate, if you enlighten me about below queries:

1- For WES ECA, Do I need to get ECA for only my final PhD degree from Italy or all the previous degrees as well?
2- For my Spouse: Do I also need to get ECA for her all degrees, which are: MBA, BS(IT), Intermediate, Matric?

We both are currently in Italy, so from here, I can get sealed envelope from my Italian University for my PhD degree, but for the rest, kindly advise me.

I will firstly get ECA done, then will launch application on CIC under EE profile.

Kindly advice.

Thanks!

hello everybody,
i hope u all are fine. it is a great pleasure for me to see Pakistanis sharing information about immigration process. My qualification is B.com, LLB. Is it possible to get immigration on the basis of the credentials.?
please guide me seniors.

Asslam-o-Alaikum Brothers

I am new to this forum and specially seeking help to move in Canada. i am living in Dubai from many years and studied in Pakistan.

Initially i just have some question

i am eligible to apply as per 100 points grid but i am confused in 1200 points grid. Please advise should i apply in fswp express entry only or should i apply parralel in PNP. Which is easier for NOC 01111 OR 01112 to qualify. i have no relatives in canada and i have no job offer

Secondly i am in process of arranging documents attestation from WES and doing ielts test (as previous ielts expired i scored (5.5, 6, 6, 7) overall 6 bands means clb7

CAN SOMEBODY ADVISE THE PROCEDURE OF GETTING ATTESTATION IN PAKISTAN AS WES REQUIRED DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE SEND DIRECTLY BY OUR INSTITUTES and till now i am getting information they will give only in sealed evelop to send wes by me.
do i need to attest my matric, inter, bachelor 2 years and master 2 year, icmap 1 year degrees or no need of metric ?

Thanks in advance to all

Thread name: PCC from Pakistan

AoA Pakistani seniors,

Do I need a NADRA birth certificate or can I use my original one from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation - stamped and signed by the KMC? I have a cousin whose husband submitted the same for new zealand and it worked fine...

Hope to hear back

There is no such compulsion. Besides, that happens only in countries where police system in centralized. In Pakistan it is not even centralized for a single city, period.

Why do you need birth certificate? Which check list asked for it? It is only need for a PR application of dependents, i.e. children who do not have NICs.

On that subject, what KMC issues as far as i remember is not a birth certificate. It's a birth registration FORM (similar to the one hospital issues you that you use to get a birth certificate) and doesn't have any legal value.

Dear fkl

we don't need at all birth certificate for main applicant and his spouse & children for Canada immigration ? please reconfirm
Thanks
