I APPRECIATE YOUR CONCERNS. CLB 9 EFFECTS YOU IN 2 WAYS. POINTS THEMSELVES

THEN SKILL TRANSFERABILITY. IF U WANT TO SCORE 75 TO 100 POINTS IN SKILL TANSFERABILITY you need to score again CLB 9. Thats Y I m emphasizing on IELTS.

The biggest challenge for Pakistanis is speaking. Writing is good and reading and listening as well.

What u need is simple 3 months practice of talking and take Barons books and Cambridge Books for IELTS.

Cambridge books are expensive but are really advanced and u can score h8gh on IELTS.

Skill transferability perhaps makes it worth it. This may be significant. I'm leaning towards achieving CLB9 too. But I'll let it go for the short term. Although, in the EE CRS calculation system, what I find more significant, is LMIA or PNP or job offer.

Dear Haris,

Thanks for your swift replies.

I've lots of queries regarding CIC, maybe some of them are stupid queries so letme first explore myself and if I need any help then I'll get back to this thread.

If you can suggest me links that can helpful regarding apply for (Software Engineer) profession then I'll be grateful to you!

Thanks
Raheel

Its virtually impossible to get the PNP from Pakistan unless some miracle happens.

My sincere advise never look for a Consultant who tells U he can get u a PnP.

Thanks Hassan.

Secondly, My spouse is a Pharmacist; and, it's really hard to get her ECA. As it involves IELTS, PEBC Assessment with huge fees etc. While lodging my EOI in EE, I would write her qualification "None or less than secondary education". Would it affect out future prospects (if we make it to Canada).

AlHamdulillah, my new IELTS score has arrived this morning.

Results
Listening: 7.0
Reading: 7.5
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 8.0
Overall: 7.5

From childhood, I'v always studied in English medium. I have no problem with English. The problem I have, is the money they keep charging us, for us to improve our score on IELTS.

With this, I can apply to both Canada, as well as Australia.

I just need to crank up listening to 8. Otherwise, I'm all good.

My IELTS score is :-

listening = 6.5
reading= 7.0
writing = 6.5
speaking = 6.5

my age is 40

please let me know any hope for Canada or Australia.

Can IT guys get "Certificate of qualification" or points for IT industry certifications ?

ECA authorities in Canada look into formal education. I believe they don't look at certifications that one has achieved.

Please visit CIC's CRS tool to calculate your score for EE.

Your work experience, or skilled trade may count for much. Also, education will bring points via ECA report. IELTS scores can be improved with time, preperation.

Hi All,

I am from Pakistan. Can anybody confirm that at any stage for EE do we need our Matric/Intermediate certificate to show to CIC?
