Knowing English well was not a requirement once. Now-a-days, its been turned (forced) into a requirement. One has to pay a lot of good money to get his scores right in IELTS.

Honestly getting high score in IELTS is not a real big task in first place.

Secondly even a single point is important. When I see my Pakistani fellows saying they have 350+ points I feel it will be tough if the bar goes below 600.

Reason is simple 51000 total available seats for FSW. Do you guys really think its gonna work with so low points. As said earlier make or break is IELTs. Focus on it. Get good marks n apply. CLB 9 is Crucial to score.

Is there any realistic chance (while applying from Pakistan) of getting Provincial Nomination (BC or SASK)?

Or it's just for those who already live in Canada?

The same question is regarding getting a job offer.

Getting big score in IELTS IS! a big task. Its big on both money and preparation. And even then, its not all about preparation.

At present, with my IELTS score of L 7, R 7.5, S 7, W 6.5, I have CRS language score of 96 out of 150. (I have given one more IELTS test after this one, for which I'm awaiting results).

With a continuous CLB9 (i.e., 8 7 7 7 ) in IELTS, one gets a max of 116 out of 150 points. Its a 20 point difference. Mind you, attaining CLB9 across the board is not easy.

I guess this thread is full of Newbies and no one bothers answering but their own acquainted ones.

I APPRECIATE YOUR CONCERNS. CLB 9 EFFECTS YOU IN 2 WAYS. POINTS THEMSELVES

THEN SKILL TRANSFERABILITY. IF U WANT TO SCORE 75 TO 100 POINTS IN SKILL TANSFERABILITY you need to score again CLB 9. Thats Y I m emphasizing on IELTS.

The biggest challenge for Pakistanis is speaking. Writing is good and reading and listening as well.

What u need is simple 3 months practice of talking and take Barons books and Cambridge Books for IELTS.

Cambridge books are expensive but are really advanced and u can score h8gh on IELTS.

Its virtually impossible to get the PNP from Pakistan unless some miracle happens.

My sincere advise never look for a Consultant who tells U he can get u a PnP.
