Its torture, having to waste 18 weeks waiting for ECA report.

Can't submit my EE profile. Can't apply for jobs in jobbank.

This is exactly what I read on CES, therefore applying through WES. Heard its super fast. Even though they claim 20 days people have gotten their ECA's in 3 days also.

WES, ICAS won't provide ECA for me. I'm stuck with CES.

Good luck with WES.

Anyone here who can tell how to show proof of funds when we get an ITA?

Wait for other's to reply. I do not think we have anyone here who has received an ITA yet but I read in another thread that you'd need to show 6 months bank statement, which in my knowledge would be matched to the amount you claimed you'd be bringing with you to Canada in EE.

There is nowhere mentioned on the cic website that we have to show banks statement FOR THE LAST 6 months.

Hi Guys,

I am just starting this thread to make all the friends together for Express Entry.

In order to discuss the problems,

and queries for filling the Express Entry Online Application.

Share your thoughts.

Best of Luck!!

Walaikum-Assalam brother,

Yup, you can sure apply under EE.

If you want to apply under EE as FSW, you'll need to;

(1) clear IELTS exam, with required scores
(2) struggle to get an ECA report against your educational credentials
(3) have your experience letter(s) made in format accepted by immigration authority

after that, or if you already have that, then it'll be beneficial to setup your EE/MyCIC account, in which you'll need to fill details, with care. Submit that profile in the EE pool of candidates, which will be in the upcoming/next draw.

They ask for employment experience of immediate 10 years from the date of filing of your immigration application.

Wa Alaikum Assalam.

Brother, kindly check if you are applicable to apply by using this tool.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

Also you can calculate your unofficial score by using this to have an idea on where you stand.

Please reply regarding my question of bank statement?

I'v never had ITA, I can only speculate. As per CIC's page Proof of funds - Skilled immigrants (Express Entry);

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

(1) Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada.

You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you).

You will need to show proof to the Canadian visa office in your home country that you have enough money when you apply to immigrate.

(2) You do not have to show that you have these funds if:

you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

An estimate of the ammount of money that is to be shown is mentioned on the page. Amount of funds is relevant to members of your family (you, your spouse, your children, your children's children, etc etc).

Valid job offer means, if you'v been offered a job with LMIA.

Hi All,

Could any one list down steps 1,2,3 I need for Express entery Program.
i have gone through CIC website. how you guys calculating your scores.?.
I am confused about choosing ECA organization. I selected WES but my University is not on their list

Thanks

Hmm...this means having money in parent's account will not help.

I had the same problem with WES. My University is not in their list. There's ICAS, CES for ECA. The remaining two are for medical path.
