Please confirm, name of institution of higher education (post secondary). Is it public/private sector university ?

Was your institution of study in the WES's list of "Accepted Universities from Pakistan" ? If not, did WES provide you with a "usable" report ?

Yes it was in accepted list of university. And i dont know about the process of a university which is not in accepted list

I have used the calculator, but it is showing different score than my Express Entry profile. May be I am not filling my EE profile properly, and that's why I asked if someone could help me out on this.

Bro, If your university is not included in the Accepted university list then Don't do it. I read a post from a poor guy from India, WES evaluate his education and declared the corresponding Canadian equivalence but with "NOT ACCERATED UNIVERSITY" status.

Have you received ECA e mail by CES or not yet as, yours timeline's 18th weeks have passed today? Were your all documents reached CES before 23/09/2014 (Your application + Attested credentials from every attended Educational Institute)?

(1) Sent my app + docs to CES on 10-Nov-2014 (in same sealed envelope from my University)
(2) Received on 14-Nov-2014 (Friday) (signed by D HANSEN, as per my courier)
(3) they conveniently forgot my docs were in their possession, untill I called them a few times, in first week of December 2014

(4) CC charging started on 10-Dec-2014
(5) CC charge completed on 14-Dec-2014
(6) Received email that my CC was charged on 10-Dec-2014
-> I was assigned a student number, and given a transaction ID

(7) from then CES employees went on new year holidays BEFORE their designated time
-> They were supposed to go on 19-Dec-2014. They weren't available from or before 15-Dec-2014 (been calling them in those days)
( 8 ) CES employees were supposed to come back on 05-Jan-2015
-> They came back around 3rd week of Jan-2015

(9) CES on their website said, they would process docs in 15 weeks in 2014
(10) CES on their website now says, they will process docs in 18 weeks in 2015

(11) the lady on the phone said, it will be 18 weeks from Jan (when they came back from new year holidays), rather than from Nov 2014
(12) the lady on the phone confirmed, the system at CES mentioned, all my docs were in, they were processing my docs, and that all I had to do, was to wait


I'm now waiting to see what happens in 18 weeks time, unable to do anything further, watching monthly draws pass by

Hi Guys,

So I finally paid WES $322 (including UPS Shipping) and got my reference number. This is the first step for me

Going to Islamabad on Thursday to get SSC and HSSC degrees sent through Federal Board. I am not that clear on what I have to do @ federal board but I'm hoping they would know what to do. WES website says that the SSC and HSSC documents need to be sent directly by the board to them. I am not sure as of now if the board will end up sending them (Pakistani mentality :/) So should I see how it goes or ask them to give me the sealed envelope which I can send directly to WES?

Next comes my Undergrad from LSE (Lahore). Will have to get it attested by HEC but a friend of mine who also applied says it wasn't required if you have studied further. I guess there is only one way to find that out and that is to wait for WES.

And then I've already written to my University in UK to send my degree and transcript to WES directly. They are accommodating and that degree should reach WES in 2 weeks inshAllah.

If you didn't do anything from Federal board, you don't need to go there.

You'r going to get your SSC, HSC docs attested from BISE. BISE already is in direct communication with WES. You'll give your attested docs to BISE, with the printed/filled application forms. They will provide you with sealed envelope containing your attested docs + application.

You can then either send it by courier to WES or have BISE send it to them directly (takes longer).

BISE? What exactly do you mean by BISE? There are different boards for BISE Lahore, BISE Faisalabad, BISE Rawalpindi and then there is FBISE which is the federal board. My degrees are issued by Federal Board so I'm pretty sure that's where I need to go. Help me out if you think I'm mistaken

I did it from Lahore. I went to BISE Lahore for mine. If you did it from FBISE, that's where you go.

The issuing authority, in this case FBISE, will do it for you.

Yes I read that. So they say it has to be sent directly by the board (which you are saying will take longer) so I can take a sealed envelope from them and send it myself and it would still be ok? Thanks in advance.

I don't have practical experience with WES. For my ECA, I'v had to apply via CES.

When I was getting my docs attested from BISE Lahore, the relevant guys did mention I could courier the sealed envelope on my own. What matters is that;

(1) board officials attest the docs
(2) board officials seal the envelope
(3) board put their mark (seal) on it, and
(4) put their address on it in "FROM"

The wise course of action would be to consult other threads related to WES or visit/call FBISE for more "concrete" info on this. There's too many discussions on WES.

Can't submit my EE profile. Can't apply for jobs in jobbank.
