Hi everyone,
I lived in Pakistan from my birth until 2012 and then stayed in Singapore for 07 years. Prior to coming to Canada in 2019, I went to Pakistan for a three months visit. I have applied through express entry as CEC applicant and included a PCC from Pakistan that includes the stay of period until 2012 and not 03 months stay. It was issued after I stayed in Pakistan for 03 months stay. Seeing a lot of posts on this forum where PR applications are refused due to PCC, I became a bit nervous now. Do anybody think that my PCC will work or I need to submit a new PCC via webform? Thanks.

If I were you I would submit a new PCC. Reason being that PCC is the single biggest reason why applicants get rejected. Just a single day in PCC missing has led to rejections for people. It is one of the most important things in the application (if not the single most important thing) in terms of having applications rejected.

Thanks for your reply. I'll try to get it renewed ASAP.

I think CIC website says PCC is required for 6 months stay an it doesn’t apply to your case. Better check it before getting the PCC redone https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have looked at this link and that is why I was satisfied until I saw some posts where applications were rejected due to incomplete PCC. Can I call IRCC to confirm this? Will they entertain an inquiry related to PCC?

Pakistan issue pcc till ur last visit date so now if they observe it or see that u have travelled to pk but pcc not covering this period then they might ask. Btw which stage is ur application?

Yes, that's the concern. If it was issued before the last visit then according to website it won't have any issue. I received AOR on August 12 and my application is still in early stages.

We all should write to Canadian embassy to order vfs.cvac in Pakistan to resume its services, especially for biometrics collection.
How better Pakistan needs to do. A Zero cases a day ??
VFS is operational is Pakistan since 03-Aug-2020 now (Check the website of vfs Pakistan). They are ready to collect passports for visa stamping but the main problem is that IRCC is not sending approvals to VFS Pakistan for visa stamping. I came to know about a guy residing in Australia received PPR. Through immitracker.com i also found some cases apart from Inland and USA residents people from Russia and few other countries received PPR after 18-Mar-2020. I am from Pakistan, applied as PNP-outland as EE, AOR is 03-Jan-2020. Dont know about my visa office since i get reply from web form which does not say about eligibility and visa office. Awaiting for reply of another webform.
Atlease IRCC should start issuing PPR's and may hold COPR in countries where VFS are working e.g. Pakistan (Like the case I mentioned with Australian applicant). It seems frustrating if they keep extending travel restrictions and does not move our files or issue PPRs.

Hi everyone, I got ITA and completing documentation. I have a query. Anyone got PCC from Pakistan ( Lahore and Multan) recently? I am having issue to obtain PCC as they have online system and not issuing on authority letter. A person must be their to get his PCC.
I got my PCC in Feb,2018 for study visa and came to Canada in Aug, 2018. Can I use that one? it is 1 week over 6 months.
My TRV is in process. I can visit Pakistan only after it is approved.
Please share experience and advise. Thanks

They told me that fingerprint and photo are mandatory to get PCC now a days. For that, Pakistan visit is mandatory or I should contact consulate here.

Hey guys, glad I found this thread. I had a question about claiming work experience. I have worked in the same company from 2011 to 2018. From 2011 to 2014 my salary was low, and I was paid out in cash. Due to this, I cannot furnish tax deduction certifications or tax slips. In 2014, I was promoted and was paid via direct debit into my bank account. From 2014, I am able to furnish tax deduction certificates, salary slips, and my bank statement which lists the incoming salary from 2014. Both positions that I worked in had the same NOC, the promotion was simply higher responsibility (Junior to Senior Engineer).

The reference letter will mention that I was hired in 2011, promoted in 2014 and I left in 2018. My question is, what do I put in the Work History section of my EE profile if I am only interested in attaining CRS points from 2014 to 2018?

Would appreciate some insight into this. This is the last hurdle on my end to enter the pool.
