Hi, when I submitted my documents I include NADRA marriage certificate but when they started background check they asked me last month to submit nikkah nama with English translation.
So I guess they know that from Pakistan we have Nikkah nama in Urdu. NADRA marriage certificate won't be sufficient.
Thank you very much Aali. That was very helpful. I will upload both then.

Dear all:I just received my PCC. have lived on multiple addresses since I turned 18, all in one city, (Peshawar, Pakistan). My PCC runs like this:

"There is nothing adverse/Criminal record against him/her on the record of local police station to date. Further verification on his permanent address maybe asked from home district."

There is no mention of the year from which I am in peshawar, mentioning only "Till date". Is that fine? Or should I ask them to put "since date of turning 18 till present date"

Also, do I need to get the PCC from district of permanent address also, even if not lived there since 18?

Please help.

Hi all

So I finally received my GCMS notes. My BG has been IP since end March. However, my GCMS (10 May) states my Elgibility, Meds and Criminality as passed. Security is still blank on the summary.

Which stage do you guys reckon my file is at... and when should one normally be expecting a PPR when at such a stage? Keeping in mind my BG hasnt changed since end March! ?

Hi
Is there any update on your profile , my background check still in progress for last 3 months

Dear Umair Maqsood, You need the PCC of each city and address/addresses which you had mentioned in your Express Entry profile of last ten years or from age of 18 which come first. If you mentioned Islamabad in your EE profile, then you need to produce PCC of this city. If you lived in two cities Islamabad and some where in K.S.A then you need to produce two PCC.

Please be careful, PCC is the most important document. Many guys rejected due to it. My suggestion is don't leave a gap of a single day (from age of 18 or last ten years; whatever suit according to your age).

I lived in three cities in last ten years , so I made two PCC(Pakistan) and one foreign PCC . My all three PCC don't contain any (living/staying) period. Police station of my cities refused to mentioned date/time of stay on PCC. I recommend you to make PCC with stay period if possible.

I hope it will be helpful.

Little Confused: Help required

I have received my ITA couple of weeks back and I am preparing my documents to submit. The only thing that is troubling me is the police clearance certificate.

I, belong from Peshawar (City A)-Pakistan however at age 18 I moved to Islamabad (City B) - Pakistan. I stayed over there till 2012 and then I moved to K.S.A.

There are following questions on which I would be requiring my seniors advice:

1. How many PCC I have to produce in total
2. How many cities PCC I have to produce including Pakistan and KSA
3. What should be the format of PCC for example I was going through some blogs and few bloggers were claiming that one has to write the stay period (month/year to month/year) which gave me a clue that I have to mention that from age 18 to 2012 I was staying in Islamabad. (IF) that's the case which address I need to mention on PCC since my stay in Islamabad was majorly in hostels and as paying guest.
4. Do I have to produce PCC only after age 18 or I have to produce PCC from my home town as well claiming that since my birth till 18 I am clean (not-convicted)

Last, can some one share their APPROVED police clearance certificate for my ready reference

Regards,

Where exactly do we need to fill out this requirement of showing where you lived in past 10 years?

I don't see that enquiry anywhere in the EE profile.

Secondly: i have visited Qatar and Saudi but didn't stay there consecutively.

Went to each country for a month on business visa returned for some days and went back. This may have continued for 1 year and almost 6 months respectively.

I hope I don't need police certificates for these countries!

Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate.

You may need a police certificate from any country or territory that you have spent six months or more since the age of 18.

For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.

If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:

  • are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
  • have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.
I think with according to above: we only need one PC from each country if the stay was over 6 months.. regardless of which city in that country.

Ok. Our timelines look similar. Do keep me in loop about the progress on your application if possible. Thanks.

Hi, my AOR was 20th November and last month my background check started and they requested additional documents which i submitted last week, now I'm hoping they start process it soon.

I have sent request for CSE on 2nd July. Waiting for the response on it. Have you tried GCMS notes?

Background check in process since 21 Mar 2017. Email from CPC says that they are doing some additional verifications so can't comment on estimated completion time for my file.
