No this is a general update. You'll get another one like this next week and a response from their end. I applied on 20th October, got the same update as yours on 30th October (eligibility review started) and on 8th i got another such update (medical being reviewed for medical and i didn't do medical upfront) and got medical on the next day. So wait for the next one i guess.

Didn't it take you 5 months altogether like you previously said? After the medical, can it take soo longg?

I have got an offer letter from university of calgary via email , do I apply it using scan copy of the offer letter or wait for the hard copy (send via normal mail)?

I used email copy as never received hard copy.

Yes it took 5 months but i got medical after 20 days. And yes it can take so long after medical but only in some cases. Most cases get approved in 2-3.5 months.

Indians processing time is very short as compared to ours so we can't compare our applications with them.

That is sds category. general category takes 2 to 3 months for them too.

Yeah and majority of them apply through sds. And there visa offices are different too. It takes more time in security check for a Pakistani for obvious reasons than the indians and their visa office is different too but yeah hope for the best!

Applied for Study permit Online application on June 9th, 2018. It's been two weeks my BIL (biometrics information letter) is not generated yet.
My application was submitted successfully. Wondering if any body is facing same problem or what,if some body knows it? what should i do?
because i know couple of peoples who applied for study permit online and their BIL (Biometrics information letter) generated within 48 hours after they
applied?
Any suggestion please?

There is another guy on PSA Canada who didn't get the BIL yet but i am not really sure what to do. Go for a CSE (case specific enquiry) or just wait it out. tbh i am not sure.

I completed my 15th week today (6 weeks to medical passed) so I’m almost 4 months up. I don’t see any updates on my gckey account though. It only says submitted on 16th may (because I linked it way later, paper application was sent on 13th March) so I hope they are treating my paper app date as my process time yeah?

Also, I am switching jobs so do I need to inform them of this change?
