guys i have little query. i applied paprbased on 4 july for sept intake. how they will call me for medical. i mean which mode they gonna use. as i have given them my cell num too. so r they going to msg me or tell me by email? well if e.g. they tell me by sms n then wat gonna happen i have to collect my PP 1st or just go medical?

Plz share some thoughts about the possible time/week when applicants for sept. admission should start receiving their med. intimations at the latest.

How long does it take after passport request as i submitted passport last wednesday? 2ndly vfs status is "Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Offlice, ISLAMABAD on 10/07/2014." from the last week so when will it change? Lastly is there any way i can contact vfs or chc and inquire about the passport using my vfs tracking id?

I check 10 times daily for an updated status. So i would like to ask that as operating time of chc is 8 - 5, is it possible that status change at odd times when chc is not operating like at night or something. if not ill stop checking 10 times a day and ill check once at 5pm.

Your VFS status only changes 2 times throughout 11 weeks .

1. When your passport has been sent to CHC.
2. When CHC sends back your passport to VFS.


In between whatever happens you won't get status updates bhai.

I applied study permit for September intake through VAC Karachi on 23 June and now expecting to get the medical call soon. My problem is I am visiting Islamabad for the next 2 or 3 week and meanwhile If I get the medical call I will not be present in Karachi so my question is can I undergo medical examination in Islamabad or I have to be in Karachi necessarily for that purpose. Jazakallah for any replies

That isnt any issue, soon as you get your medical letter you can book an appointment with IOM where ever you are..

You can take your medical appointment at any of LHR, KHI or ISL locations. There is no restriction in it.
Don't forget to bring your medical form printout, fee and the identity proof i.e passport copy, original CNIC or original Driving License

as far as I know It comes through email, if you apply online it will be in mycic portal in the form of PDF and you will get notification about it on your email too.

No Dear. I just dispatched my passport on 15-06-2014.Still I haven't got LOI.

I have applied through paper based actually so hopefully i'll get an email then .
