My timeline is almost similar to urs
I applied on July 21 and did biometric on 7 August and eligibility started on 30 and received a medical request yesterday lmao... les hope I get an AIP soon as well...

I had not paid fees in advance.
I received automatic message to check update on gckey account. And it did not say embassy name on letter.

My application is quite strong as I have ten year visit visa to canada and my program is masters from McGill University. I already had Quebec letter as well. (CAQ)
