I was planning to apply for study permit paper based. But God bless my uncle he told me the Vfs global are not professional and there are a chances of documents displaced..Now i am planning to apply online via canada.ca . I guess i will be directly in contact with them and there is no Abu Dhabi between us.

If you are from Pakistan or UAE your online application submitted at Canada.ca will go through Abu Dhabi. I don’t think we have choice to choose visa office Or maybe i don’t know.

Don't submit paper based application at VFS VAC ( specifically in Islamabad). They are ignorant, unprofessional and rude people. We have extremely bad experience with them. I submitted my parents visitors visa application, they took my file and removed few of very important supporting documents from my file and said these are unnecessary documents we don't accept it (behaved as he is a visa officer) also rearranged all documents ( as he was told by his idiot boss). Would you believe, he even removed fee receipt from our file, we deposited online visa fee. we formally complaint the incident at Canadian embassy but nothing happen.
