Hi guys

Until Monday my Academic Examiner was In Progress, today I checked and it is Complete. And another Internal Review is In Progress (see photo below). Does that mean my Academic Review is completely done?

This is actually great if everything for you is done in 6 months -- fingers crossed
Quick update on my application :
Case to board was scheduled for September 2020 but my member status has changed from EIT to Professional Member. I haven't received any email confirmation though, but I believe it's been approved. So, Yay!!!

Where did it show your member status change? My Case to Board is currently scheduled for August 2020

When you login to member self service page, top left corner of the page under the Name and Membership number. Used to be E.I.T Non Practising.

In addition, my application status tab doesn't show up anymore...

Hi Bikkil, which discipline? My application is in case to board for August but have not heard back.

Civil Engineering (but my experience is in Structural Engineering).

When you say "in case to board", do you mean it's passed the examiners stages and is in the final stage (circled below)?

it just basically saying that the board has deferred approving my application as professional member and it requires me to gain 1 year acceptable Canadian experience referenced by supervisor who is a P.Eng.

If you are already in Canada, what would the issue be? You don't want to work here, or is it hard to get a job?

been in oil and gas industry during my entire 12 years career. any referrals these days would be greatly appreciated. :)
Where was (most of) it? So APEGA don't think that any of your experience has time equivalent to 1-year Canadian experience?

Hi FutureImmi

My Case to Board is scheduled today for Oct 2020. My question: when your Academic Examiner and Experience Examiner were complete, did you have any questions/inquiries/further details required from the Application Administrator (AA)? Because if not, I just want to assume that my application will be done in the next meeting. The AA did not ask for anything during both stages of Examiners so I feel very optimistic.

Hi guys,

I am just about 6 months in Canada and my APEGA application verdict was just received. I was asked to obtain a year Canadian equivalent experience under a P.Eng. I am thinking can I volunteer in an engineering firm to cross this hurdle and meet this requirement?

Then again, they asked I should enroll for one of the following options?
1. Enroll as a Provisional Licensee once you complete the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE) (please refer to the following link for more information:
2. Enroll as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.)

What should I do?
