You typically do not receive a separate AOR. You can attempt to link using passport details.

An update to above. My visitor extension was approved as of Nov 23 and shows as Nov6( date in visitor extension).
Should I update CIC about approval of visitor extension so that it helps me in getting OWP?
MY TIMELINE:
APP SUBMITTED(spousal sponsorship +owp) : 29 SEP
APP RECEIVED : 2 OCT
AOR : 23 OCT

No need to update as it will not affect the OWP application.
