I called the call center because both my file and my dependent’s file have completed the background check. However, there is a medical exam outstanding for my dependent. The call center agent advised me that he should take the medical exam in advance. Have any of you heard about this?
Well usually ircc they send all instructions for medical exam isn't voluntary to have medical exam should be required by ircc

When did you apply?

Hi everyone! I applied in May 2024; received my and my spouse’s biometrics instruction letter in November 2024. My spouse received a letter saying that their application is considered under Concurrent Pilot. My status says, “Medical passed in November 2024”. I don’t know my spouse’s application status as I’ve been unable to link their application. I called IRCC and they told that I need to be a representative to know their status. I have sent “Use of Representative” web form.
How much time is it likely to take for my spouse’s PR? What would be the next step?

If you only apply in May 2024 you haven’t even hit the 2+ year processing time for the protected person in Canada.

Have you received eligibility letter yet?

Hi. Me and my daughter are also dependents of my husband as protected person . He received a eligiblity letter last Feb. 2024, until now no updates. On my part, i check my status online, saying these: " In Process"
1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 4, 2022.
2. We started processing your application on February 24, 2023.

I'm just wondering why me and my daughter didn't request biometric and medical yet.
Please how can you track your dependent process??

Hello please i need help urgent. I am the main applicant here in canada and i applied pr since feb 23 and my dependent are outside canada.
Is there anyway to track my dependent application because i don’t know what is the procedures or the update or the status for their files so if anyone can help i will be more appreciated

Questions are you dependants overseas for a protected person if yes you can't see any update because overseas office only reach by inquiry webform that's the only way
But you said in you post (i check my status online and says in process) so my question how did you check this even if you are dependent or main applicant??

you need to fill out a representative form and submit it through the web form. After that you´ll be able to ask about your dependant application via the call center you just need to indicate you are their representative on file and have their UCI and account number as they will ask for verification

Permanent Residence
We received your permanent residence application on October 24, 2022.
We started processing your application on February 21, 2023.
August 1, 2024 We passed the health examination
October 2024 Health results received.

and it has been more than 1.5 years since my father received his residence, if he received the PR card, what will happen next?

Hello my friends
I just wanted to share my timeline and see how it goes for other fellows
#Main applicant:
-Submitted October 2023
-Received biometric instructions and additional documents in Feb 2024
-Received eligibility and pre arrival letter in December 2024
#Overseas depend:
-Received biometric and additional documents in Feb 2025
-Pre arrival letter in March 2025

Could you please share your recent news and timeline and could please let me know how much more do we have to wait? It started getting frustrating

Also the overseas dependent has Visitor visa, is there any way she could apply for work permit in Canada?
