I feel that this was asked before, but I could not find a satisfying answer:
I need to specify my CLB level when filling PEI PNP. I am supposed to select one radio button, not 4 checkboxes, which gives me the impression that there is a way to calculate the overall CLB level.
I am aware of a few pages which map CLB to specific score. For example, one web page states that CLB 8 is:
Listening 7.5, Reading 6.0, Speaking 6.0, and writing 6.0
But what if my score is not an exact match. For example what if my score is:
Listening 7.5, Reading 8.5, Speaking 8.5, and writing 7.5
What would my overall CLB be?
How to calculate it?
Is it the average? if so, then it would be 9.5 but guess what, there is no 9.5 on the form, just 10/9, 8, 7, and below 7.
