Outland while in Canada

Hi. We're currently working on our application. We're considering outland application while in Canada. Is it possible?

Main reason is because of this coronavirus. We're afraid that I would go home. I'm currently on tourist visa and we just got married.

Any help on this please. Thanks.

Sure you can submit an outland application whilst in Canada , lots of people go that route just means cannot apply for the work permit option available with the inland optiin and you have to make sure you maintain a legal status as a temp resident..

The only major con other than the OWP is that you can be forced to return to your (or your spouse's) country of origin if an interview is required.

We're scared on the cons of inland. That we couldn't appeal right away.

No. Interview will be in the home country. Although interviews generally aren't required.
