Hi everyone, I am a new member and hope someone has an answer.
I am a Canadian and making plans early next year to marry my fiance in Buenos Aires.
We know each other for over 2 years and she is excited to visiting Canada after we marry. She never was in Canada as I visited her there on my yearly winter vacations.
I noticed that waiting time for her is about 14 months added to the 2 extra months for my SA approval.
As my girlfriend is not employed and is supported by her older married brother, what options, if any, are there do that we can wait in Canada and relieving her brother of taking care of her as he barely can support his own family.
Can she apply for visa after we marry and submit the sponsor application from Canada once we are here or that she is forced to wait the months once she marries in her country?
Can she get a 16 month visa or does that exist ?
