Outland vs Inland PR Sponsorship Process

Hi

Ive heard many things about outland pr sponsorship process vs inland process.

I am in New Zealand with my husband (who is the sponser/canadian citizen). Im on a Malaysian passport (New Zealand PR). We are applying for him to sponsor me for a Canadian PR...is there a difference when it comes to the time frame if you get it done outland vs inland?
