If Canadian newly wed is with spouse outside Canada , what documents can be helpful in proving the marraige is genuine, other than joint bank account , rental agreement? Can any other document of Canada where we can add spouse name to make the case strong.

Photos of couple together, with family, from wedding ceremony, travel together abroad, etc. It's not rocket science, read through the examples and suggestions in the app and other threads here.
Note, obviously for those living together it is MUCH easier, and longer period living together also helps.
With proviso this applies to Canadian citizens. PRs need to be in canada to sponsor.
Also: if Cdn citizen applies from abroad, will need to show intent to return to Canada. This is quite important and often more difficult (and subjective) to demonstrate than relationship.
