MPs have a separate system to ask questions, and usually get answers faster, yes. How fast? Wait and see, i think a week or two.

Mind though the week or two that I've heard I think were mostly cases where it was just "checking" i.e. getting current status of file (more detail than what is in the trackers but not much more). If the inquiry is more complex, obviously who knows and esp whether the MP can actually impact. (Technically they can't but sometimes asking the question can ...)

As @armoured pointed out, this is a backward looking stat. For what it's worth, our outland application was sent in early 2021 and completed (with landing) in 9.5 months. Focus on the part you can control; put together a solid application. Stay optimistic everyone!
