Are you planning to land in Canada permanently by then? I had my passport submitted yesterday. Not sure until when my COPR will be valid, and I am not ready to land permanently yet.

We plan to land permanently asap, we would happily go now.
My worry is that I haven't seen any signs of them changing the travels restrictions.

I sent my passport as well, is there a way to track if IRCC has started acting on received doucments ? @legalfalcon Do you know anything about this ?

When I came to VFS for biometrics giving, they provided me one envelope, a document for me to sign and several printed instructions. These will be used to send in my passport when my PPR comes. I can’t wait to start preparing.

I can't believe that you get your PR within two months, while I am waiting from March until now, still pending.

After your send the passport, and your COPR and visa is generated, your status in your MyCIC account will change. This is one of the ways to know that IRCC opened your passport and worked on it. Until a visa and COPR is generated, your application will continue to show in progress.

Hi, I decided to edit my signature to avoid causing unnecessary anxiety to others. Yes, I was simply fortunate. The travel restrictions are still in place, so even with a COPR, I cannot make any landing.

Hi everyone,
Received my PPR with request to submit passports to the High Commission in Singapore through local VAC. But local VACs are all closed. Does HC in Singapore accepts direct courier?

My medical was passed on 31 Oct 2019. No request to re-submit yet. Does that mean my current medical is valid until landing?

For now all docs to and out of VFS Singapore is via post or courier service.
We just submitted ours yesterday via Singpost express service.
Please make sure to read VFS instruction on their website carefully, or you can chat or call them if any concerns.

Lol, no worries, and it's true that we can do nothing here during the pandemic. But I am just too eager to know the result only.
