I have collected most of the documents needed, but i have a few questions regarding what supporting documents are needed, and what needs to be notarized.

1) Do I need a notarized copy of my passport and my wife's passport?
2) My wife is a dual citizen, should we include copy's of both?
3) Do I need to notarize a copy my wife's birth certificate?
4) Do I need to provide a copy of my birth certificate?
5) Do I need to provide copy's (notarized?) of school diplomas?
6) Do i need to provide originals of financial support statements from family? If its a copy does it need to be notarized?
7) Do photos of wedding etc. need to be printed on photo paper, or can I print a few photos on regular paper.
8) Can I send copy's of wedding cards from friends or originals?

What other documents would I need? And which would need to be notarized/Original/Copy's.

Please answer as detailed as possible.
Thanks

When I first started gathering documents I saw the note about notarized. This from what I was told is only for translated things. So no you do not need to get copies of your documents notarized, you only need to provide a photocopy of your passport, birth certificates and marriage certificates, diplomas and what ever else you want to send. I sent copies of both mine and my husband PPs and Birth certificates just incase. The only origional copies I sent were from the medical, FBI, and receipt fo the online CIC payments. With the photos I used Microsoft publisher to copy and paste photos. I organized them in years. So each page or so was a certain year and then out captions under each photo stating who was in it and where we were. If you don't want to send origional cards and momentos photo copies will do fine.

Hope that helps a little bit.
