Weird that the location is different. I applied from Vancouver and got the letter from Vancouver. The email just says "Communication to client" but I requested my notes and in the notes it says that I got sent an OOC (out of country) template email, which is why I call it an OOC email here, too. And mine doesn't have any reference to any officer. Again, I guess this means each local office has their own template for the OOC email? Because it seems the contents seem to vary even what they ask (e.g. I didn't get asked for passports or any proof of return and was just asked when I'd be back). And yes. The letter was prompted because I took the test abroad. In my email, the first line says "We have noted that you wrote your Citizenship test from outside Canada".
