We landed safely@Toronto on 10th Sep 2011. We had a smooth landing . Our landing experiences are documented in my blog, and here's the link.

As of today, we have got our SIN numbers, bank accounts are activated, the credit cards are here and the kid is into school from today Quite an achievement isn't it?

Hi Mitali,

we rented an apartment while in India(craigslist.ca) and the place is kind of decent. Unsure how it will be in the core of winter though. We are planning to buy some additional heaters for us to survive the winter.

I think you guys are talking about debit cards, due to the fact that he doesn't have a credit history. 8)
