It is harsh! Anyone can end up in her situation and this is not how Canada should deal with people who are already in difficult situations. What a shame!

It is sad, I agree. The woman was not a PR though, she was applying to become one so it is not such a big surprise since one needs to pass medical exam and unfortunately, she was found to be medically inadmissible. Heartbreaking, for sure, I am so sorry for her :( But it is not true it can happen to anyone with PR status.
