Nothing here. Last update was that my app started processing on Aug. 30

just to let you know - my profile is finally tagged as "Medical received" 2 months after it has been sent, let's see how far we are from the PPR now ...
 
We had our MP office follow up embassy last Friday. We are still awaiting response.
 
Why did these guys transfer my case to Mexico City for haven's sake?

It just feels unfair whenever I read the Ottawa forum and see people who did medicals just under a month ago getting PPRs. I did my medicals since June, still no reply from Mexico. This sucks .big time .....

I emailed my MP and she said that it's a good sign that our eCas status is being updated, means that things are moving forward. She also said that my case should be completed by October.
 
completed ? you mean a PPR sent to you right ? because you still need to send your passport, wait another x months to get it returned and then wait 4-6 weeks to get your PR card.

Yeah, but the PR card isn't necessary to start working as a permanent resident. And the passport shouldn't take long. Let's be a bit less pessimistic.
 
you are right let's try to think positively .... just a PPR would be so welcome

Congratulations! So now you have to mail passports to Mexico city(outside Canada) or Ottawa (with in Canada)?
