On JUN 28th Friday evening (2 days after our MP office followup with Mexico office!) finally we got a request from Mexico City visa office for medicals, RPRF, updated schedule A, Updated Additional Family Information.
We did medicals in advance last year (set to expire in JUl 26th 2013) we may need to followup with visa office on that.
Good luck to the ones awaiting.

Hi sainswapna,
Congratulation for your medical request.

my application also is in Mexico office now. On May 28, I got a reply from CIO, that said my file was transferred to Mexico already. Until now I haven't received any news. Could you please tell me how do you contact Mexico office? It's by email or phone call?
Very appreciate for your help!

Hey guys,

I have a question. When you sent your updated documents to Mexico City VO, how long did it take to get there and were you able to track the documents right until it was delivered? I'm asking because i sent mine on July 10 and up till now it still shows in transit. Last update was that it has arrived at a foreign country ie Mexico 5 days ago (july 14) and since then no update :o I called Canadapost but they couldn't help much saying what they see online is the only info they have.

Please share how long it took your documents to get to Mexico City VO from Canada, and if you were you able to track the documents right until it was delivered. Thanks

Hi ozonezone,
I am the same situation here. I sent an email to ask Mexico City Vo about my updated document one month ago. Last week I got a reply that I need to send them more information so that they can check it for me.
But there is a little bit strange: I did not receive an auto reply email as usual after I sent out my information. Is it a new rule for embassy office, or something wrong? anyone have this same experience recently? Please share with us! Thanks!

Our local MP office contacted Mexico consulate for us. We never emailed/called the consulate directly.

Only part of the employees were on strike until last Friday. Turns out, they will go FULL strike starting this Monday at all major visa posts.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2013/07/26/pol-foreign-service-workers-arbitration.html

“Effective Monday, in order to persuade the government that binding arbitration remains the responsible way forward to resolve our dispute, PAFSO members will withdraw all services until further notice at Canada’s fifteen largest visa processing centres abroad,” PAFSO said in a statement.
The centres are:
Abu Dhabi.
Ankara.
Beijing.
Cairo.
Delhi/Chandigarh.
Hong Kong.
London.
Manila.
Mexico City.
Moscow.
Paris.
Riyadh.
Sao Paulo.
Shanghai.

No, It did not get update there, I am not worrying about that.

does anybody know how much our PR files are being affected by the strike ? is it 100% frozen or slowly processed ?

There seems to be movement in other visa offices (PPR, MR). Nothing so far for Mexico City so yes frozen seems to be a good description at this point. Even an email I sent to them has still not been replied :(

You are right, some of them are working. Even today my lawyer told me the same, they have received couple of PPR requests but not from Mexico ha :-)

Hello Fellas : Just FYI yesterday a guy from Venezuela (Cases being processed in Mexico) received an e-mail with instructions for medical tests... So I think they are working on priorities since this is a recent application...

My case is such a priority ;D !!!!
