Ottawa to Mexico transferred cases (FSW)

On JUN 28th Friday evening (2 days after our MP office followup with Mexico office!) finally we got a request from Mexico City visa office for medicals, RPRF, updated schedule A, Updated Additional Family Information.
We did medicals in advance last year (set to expire in JUl 26th 2013) we may need to followup with visa office on that.
Good luck to the ones awaiting.

well ... it's what i am doing .. what else can i do ? i have some city name with 17 letters that wont fit in unless the font size can be changed, which the document wont let you do ...

I got this message from Mexico's VO today:

"Sir,

We acknowledge receipt of the documents you have recently submitted.

At the moment, there is no need for further action on your part.

Our office will contact you should we require additional documents or information.

Also we kindly request that you carefully read the following information posted on the CIC website, as it is relevant to your case:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2013-06-11.asp

For this reason all processing issues have been delayed and it is not currently possible for us to give you an approximate timeframe for case finalizing.
However, rest assured that this situation is being taken into consideration regarding timeframes provided to comply with document requests.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum. "

I hope the strike situation is solved soon. Can't believe the minister isn't doing anything about it.
 
Hi All,

I received my CAIPS notes on 29th May 2013. As expected nothing has started on my file. Not even Background/criminality check. Ottawa shucks.
I am FSW1-without job offer. Don't know when i will get some communication from Ottawa. I see few people who applied after me are getting medical request and updated document request.

Any one received CAIPS recently please let us know your updates.

Did any one get PP request after medicals?? Please let us know after how much time they send passport request

I have a question. When you sent your updated documents to Mexico City VO, how long did it take to get there and were you able to track the documents right until it was delivered? I'm asking because i sent mine on July 10 and up till now it still shows in transit. Last update was that it has arrived at a foreign country ie Mexico 5 days ago (july 14) and since then no update :o I called Canadapost but they couldn't help much saying what they see online is the only info they have.

Please share how long it took your documents to get to Mexico City VO from Canada, and if you were you able to track the documents right until it was delivered. Thanks

Don't expect PPR any time soon. Wait time depends on the outcome of pafso-apase strike. Check twitter for any updates.
