I hope they do too. It seems like they might be headed in that direction and might be trying to fulfill their promises, but it's a little too soon to tell. Ottawa tends to speed up a bit around this time of year anyways, so that's also a factor.expectin said:Oh thats gret, good for the Aplicants that are been proced over there, hope soon they Hire more ppl for the other
VO, Thanks
Ottawa mainly processing U.S Applications and CIC has no beef with Americans , the process is fast due that kind of policy not because they are over staffed .IndToCan1 said:Although mine is NDVO, it is nice to see Ottawa VO processing the files in a timely fashion.
Only if other VO's can be influenced by them too!
Understand, thats why i was surprise that even february aplicants via Ottawa are getin decition made lolTANMEX said:Ottawa mainly processing U.S Applications and CIC has no beef with Americans , the process is fast due that kind of policy not because they are over staffed .
That's simply not true, a little bit, but it's not the whole story. Ottawa has actually been processing more and more non-US applicants lately. That visa office also handles more than just family class applications. The biggest reason for the decrease in processing times even while more applications are being forwarded to Ottawa is because they have been hiring more staff.TANMEX said:Ottawa mainly processing U.S Applications and CIC has no beef with Americans , the process is fast due that kind of policy not because they are over staffed .
It's so cool to see December applicants through Ottawa getting DMs after only around 4 months of filing their application. Congratulations!Decoy24601 said:That's simply not true, a little bit, but it's not the whole story. Ottawa has actually been processing more and more non-US applicants lately. Some of those February applicants who have had DM aren't even American. I know at least one was Australian.
I was replying in disagreement to TANMEX's post, which was after my original. I didn't make the same exact post and I also made a few points I didn't previously mention.expectin said:It's so cool to see December applicants through Ottawa getting DMs after only around 4 months of filing their application.
