Hello Fellow Ottawa Mates : I am on 165 days after AOR. I have x3 questions for all of you please:

1. I have already called them twice, can I call them again? is there any impact of calling them
2. Will Raising CSE help?
3. Is it possible they have not checked my eligibility yet as m close to 165 days?

Regards
Abhishek

Hi Katherine...did you try calling them ? what was the response?

@Snowkhiker Yes called them 3 times. All they state is that the eligibility is under review and no additional documents are required at this moment.

What is the current time taken after Medicals and biometrics to receive PPR ? My application stream is FSW-O. My VO is CPC- Ottawa.

I received my AOR on 3, January 2019. Medicals cleared on February 13, 2019 and biometrics completed on February 21, 2019.

I spoke to an agent today and she mentioned that background check is in process and eligibility will follow after this. Since I complete 6 months in a week from now , was a little anxious

151 days post-AOR, VO is Ottawa, Eligibility has not started. Last activity on file was at 63 days post-AOR, when file moved to case processing officer's desk. GCMS says Info sharing in progress.
Still a long way from home....

Eligibility problems. Officer wasn't satisfied with the documents I provided regarding my foreign work experience.
So s/he just sits on it for about 1.5 years without making a definitive decision?Or wht has s/he resolved to do.

149 days post-AOR, and I can only surmise that after MEP, my file has not been picked up. Several calls to IRCC have returned with responses such as;
  1. Your eligibility is in progress, there's nothing to worry about.
  2. Your eligibility has not started.
  3. You're in the final stages of eligibility process
An email to CPC-O returned "Your application is on queue for review by an officer".
Yes, criminality has passed, but whats holding the eligibility. I practiced as a medical doctor in Nigeria for 3 years, but only the last hospital gave me a standard letter, 2 prior hospitals were government hospitals and provided me with no letter (backed up with an LOE, Pay statement and certificate of completion (NYSC)), before moving to the US for a PhD.
The initial two hospital I worked at are mandated by law and part of a full licensure requirement, and I'm sure IRCC knows this, which is why I can only conclude that after MEP, the "responsible" (more like irresponsible) officer has not bothered to look at the application or maybe the are on a long leave from work.
I am simply exhausted...
That’s fair enough. My aor 27 jan and got same reply from Ottawa. Our application still not crossed 180 days . It’s better to wait patiently then getting impatient and complaining. Read @Wahegurujee msg on jan 2019 group for better insight . Good luck

That's exactly it. The file goes to the bottom of the pile and they pretty much work on the easier ones instead.

guys what do you mean by review required please ? does it take longer if your case need a review ?
