Great news. My oath was on Oct 27th. But status is still ‘in-progress’. So not sure if they have even printed it.
JT is my officer. Unfortunately.

I’ll send the solemn declaration form on Jan 3rd and a letter to Prime Minister’s office.

July 2020 Applicant in Ottawa. Received test invite on 26 Nov 2021, finished the online test on 23 Dec 2021 (studied 2 days).
Background check completed, and other parts are still in progress.

Brace yourselves for more delays from Ottawa office. With the new restrictions in place and work from home orders, it is highly unlikely any work will be done on the pending files. I understand the steps taken to curb the spread and support it as well, it's just unfortunate for the people waiting.

IRCC was already working from home anyway, they never returned to office. I dont think the new restrictions will have a major impact, they've always been this slow lol

Yes most of them are working from home however I read somewhere that some of them are going to office to facilitate the processing of paper applications.

They go to grab the files from office and take them home, they dont go to work from office. i dont think going to office to grab the files is going to change with the new restrictions

I hope that is true. I am really fed up with all this waiting. Been 22 months since I applied.

That's some serious time man in one's life. May we should sign a mass petition and send it to the minister's office. I dont understand why Toronto and Montreal offices are processing files faster while others like Ottawa are very slow.

There were petitions in the past but the reality is that no one cares about those either. I am down for going down to Ottawa IRCC location. I have been trying to contact news agencies as well but no one has responded yet.
