What I honestly dont understand is how some applications that were delivered later than others have a "faster" timeline? Don't take me wrong guys, I wish every application gets processed in a couple of days, but looking at the excel spreadsheet for a year, you can see that some file that was delivered say September 1st starts processing on December 1st, but then an application received October 1st starts processing November 1st....
Considering at this point of the applications "lifetime" they are all in Mississauga then the local office processing time doesn't matter, right?
So how come some applications go through faster than others? And get opened faster than others by like a few months? Is there any logic behind this I don't understand?

I believe they process in a batch- for example, ppl who applied in May- June got the test invitation during the same week. Its cost effective.

i was surprised that all juners had the test invitation almost at the same day.

We took our citizenship test on Feb 24 and just received oath letter today for March 23. Good luck to everyone else!

Its nice to hear that things are moving pretty fast in Ottawa office. Congrats on your oath invitation.
It will be great if you can share your timeline.

I think when suze_h and 12om3 will get their invitation, then i will hope that i will b next. Its too early to be excited. As long as i can plan for my trip sooner, i will be happy- soon means before June

1- did the officer approve your application immediately in the interview?
2- how long r u going to wait until oath? one month, less, or more?

1- They didn't say it was approved just that oath was going faster and I should hear something within 2-5 month.

2- Less than 1 month from test to oath.
