She is too old to be sponsored under the orphaned sibling category.

What is your situation in Canada? Do you have a spouse or common law partner? Do you have children? Do you have any other family members in Canada? Based on your question above, I assume both of your parents are deceased.

So you really only have one path since you have family in Canada. You would need to bring your sister to Canada on a TRV and then she would need to try to apply for PR through the H&C program. Not guaranteed to work of course but that's the only option I see for you.

There is an exception for disabilities but that only applies if you were sponsoring your parent(s) for PR through PGP sponsorship. Then you could try to include your sister as a dependent in their application.

ok great thanks for the input.

do you recommend I apply TRV by myself or through some lawyer/consultant ?

are there any things about which I should be prepared in terms of explaning the situation while applying for TRV or any tips of making my application a bit stronger .

Cheers.

It's your choice if you apply through a lawyer or on your own (I would personally not use a consultant).

For the TRV to be approved, you want to show that your sister has strong ties to her home country and has no plans on remaining in Canada long term. It sounds like this could be challenging to do in your case. Normally this is demonstrated through showing things such as employment, proof of property ownership, proof of assets, proof of previous travel to countries requiring visas (e.g. US). Your sister should also really be the one to show she has a bank balance sufficien to cover all of the costs for her trip. Not sure how much of this you can show. But this is how you build a strong application.

Do you have other sibling or family members in your home country? Don’t think you realize how challenging it will be just to get a TRV. I would also be talking to family about other potential options.
