Original transcript from Delhi University

I have University provided Mark Sheets and Convocation Certificate.
The Mark sheets are are for four years. In India a Bachelor of Engineering is 4 year education, with 8 semesters (2 each / year).

I have all 8 semester mark sheets, signed and stamped by univeristy (All originals). It shows which ones i passed, which ones i failed (i am not proude of it, but i guess i enjoyed my college life too much).

In short my life in college is traced for all four years.

So I am guessing I dont have to get the transcript.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Man don't guess. I have seen people who have been asked to get and submit their Transcripts in a sealed envelope. (In London OFFICE).
I don't know about Buffalo and other places though. Better start working on it now.

All they have is mark sheets and convocation certificate.

Can anybody tell me, what does a transcript actually physically contain?

This is a good question. I guess in this case, it could be opened. I have no answer for this.

Believe it or not almost all transcripts I have seen, including those from Asian Countries ( I don't want to be specific) are all in English.

I guess theres an easy way to do it (maybe its going about the long way to do it).

Get two transcripts from teh University. One sealed in their envelope. THe other open or not.

Send the open one to get translated and attach that to the translation.

Now, CIC can open the one in the envelope and see that the one in the envelope and the other copy is the same. Then they can see that the translation is that of the one in the sealed envelope. Like i said, this is a long way to do it.

I would probably do the above in the absense of any other information.

Probably in these cases, you can open your transcripts (if you have only one) to get it translated, but they will probably call you for an interview so that they can see it is the same as another original. I am purely guessing.

I have never seen one and my university website does not have a form for requesting one.
Also where does it state it has to be in an envelope from univeristy?

Guys, believe it or not all the Transcripts I have seen (including those from Asian Countries)are all in English. Except those from Francophone countries.
