Hi there
This might be a stupid question, BUT I am trying to figure out info about OPTION C PRINTOUT
I am in the process of filling in outland application for Guatemalan husband, and I don't see where it asks for option c printout, do i need to figure out what this is and how to include it in our application or is it obsolete?

Thx

Contact Revenue Canada..it is basically like the Notice of Assessment for your taxes, but in a different format..It doesn't take long to get, mine only took a week. but it is a requirement.

If you are unable to get it, I have read others providing an explanation letter as to why you do not, along with proof of income for the last 12 months. If you had worked in another country the previous year, the Option C wouldn't show anything, so you would have to show your earnings another way.

Every sponsor needs an Option-C printout. If you can call this number 1-800-959-8281, you can get it sent to you from there. It mentions that you need it on the document checklist for the sponsor.

im pretty sure the option c print out is just to see if youre receiving welfare or any government assistance youre not supposed to be. so it dosnt matter if you havnt been working because even if you havnt been working you should have filed your taxes also. make sure you read the application very carfully a couple of times as well as the check lists,as its in one of the check lists i think. if you have anyone in canada you know could they possibly recieve it and fax or mail it to you?
