@rubyalabar- what work did he applied for? i am wondering because right now my husband is working as an engineer in singapore, i hope he can find an employer for him to work in canada because or PR application is takng so long thanks!

he is an engineer too, but the job he got is production crew for a bread manufacturing company. not related to his field at all but he grabbed the opportunity because one of the conditions of the employer is willingness to immigrate to Canada thru provincial nomination.

maybe your husband can apply under FSW category, is his job under the 29 NOCs that are in demand in Canada? processing time for FSW is at 11 months.

Kapag TFW (temporary foreign worker) ang husband mo, chances are hindi OWP ang ibibigay sa kaniya. Tied ang WP sa isang employer, yung nag apply para sa kaniya ng LMO. Kung may WP siya at makapunta ka rito, ikaw ang puwedeng mabigyan ng OWP dahil skilled ang position niya. Your first hurdle is getting a TRV from the Philippines. Once you are able to get a visa, you can apply for the OWP at the POE once here, or send your app to CPC-Vegreville. Submit your husband's WP, your marriage certificate (to show relationship).

hello job_seeker thanks talaga ask ko uli anung form yung i fifill up sa pag apply if ever? wala naman kasi ako nakita sa site ng application kit for OWP, same din ba yun ng application kit for work permit? if same sila saan iindicate na for OWP yung i aapply ko? thanks

thank you so much wala pa pero we're planning na mag apply ng TRV sabay na kami ng mr. ko pag uwi niya sa pinas sa march! try ko mag apply in gods will baka makapasa since may work naman ako dito then may mga documents naman na ma i prepresent baka sakali lng, for sure matagal pa yung application namin sa PR up to now wala pa kami na rereceive na AOR eh more than 5 months na na submit yung application namin sa BUffalo!!! BTW job_seeker bakit parang may nabasa ako sa site na yung OWP ay para lang sa province ng ontario at alberta, sa new brunswick kasi kami if ever!!! thanks again godbless.....

All over Canada ang OWP pero under certain conditions lang- spouse ng skilled Temporary Foreign Worker, Spouse ng Foreign International Student, in-Canada PR applicants after AIP. 11 months kasi ngayon ang first stage processing. Malapit na yun.
