Hi There,

Presently I am in Canada on work permit and I have filled for my PR. Last month I got my medical and my spouse is also included in my PR application.

On that basis I have applied online Open work permit for her with in Canada. Can anyone tell how long it takes, because I applied on July30,2014.

We just worried about that.

My questions are based more on owp. First i fail to complete the form i am not currently working so i cant leave that part of the form blank because i can validate the form. Second question as i read the cic website tha mailing adress for pr application and owp are diffirent. So if i want to apply for same time for both application how its going to work? how are they gonna match both application? If i have to send the both application separetely should send my medical exam birth certificate and criminal record together with owp application to alberta office?

i believe you have to send both applications together in the same package, and clearly write on the OWP to process the application after AIP. if you send it separately, it will get rejected because it is not connected to your pr application, and will be processed before you receive first stage approval.

for more clarification, i suggest posting your question in the inland application threads. they are more familiar with how to send in the applications.

You can print it out and fill it in by hand. For the sections that don't apply, just write N/A.

The PR app and OWP app must be sent together to Mississauga.
